2002 Election for Admissions Coordinator
Applicant Name: Amy ShumanApplicant Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Applicant Home Chronicle: CarpeNoctum
I feel that this year has brought a number of successes to both this
office and OWBN in general. The Admissions list is an important
improvement allowing the STs and Council members to speak directly
with the applying chronicle. The removal of a middleman in the question
and answer period has removed a lot of unnecessary discussion. It has
also allowed for a small amount of automation to the system which has
freed up some attention that can best be used on other portions of the job.
By replacing subcoords with members more local to the applying chronicle we
have given OWBN a face and a direct contact during probation Continuing on this
same path, I intend to open up the admissions process to the membership of OWbN
further. I would like to remove some of the mystery of the process and
continue to get the membership more involved in the growth of their
organization. Applying chronicles and chronicles that have notified with
letters of intent should be more well known and more easily reachable.
Portions of the web site that would be of interest to a new chronicle should be
brought together in a down-loadable format so that applying chronicles can have
copies with them at their games. The application on the website should be
turned into the same sort of form and database that is used in this
application process so that OWBN can keep better track of who has applied and
who has not.
OWBN Admissions Coord
"Amy is as professionally efficient as they come.
She's not the most opinionated, but she's close. Her
passion and drive aid the position, even if at times
fur does get rubbed the wrong way."
"Amy, on behalf of John and myself, and everyone in our group we want
thank you for everything you have done for us. Regardless of how the
vote goes, you have been wonderful, and we appreciate everything that
you and many others have done to help us during this time and help us
work through things. You all really represent your organization
Thanks a million!!!"
